KOREAN STYLE BARBECUE PORK

5 lbs           Boneless Pork Butt

1/2 cup      Green Onions, Chopped

5 cloves    Garlic, Finely Chopped 

2 tblspn     Ginger, Finely Copped

1 cup           Shoyu (Soy Sauce)

2 tblspn      Sesame Oil

1/2 cup        Sugar

2 tblspn       Mirin**

1 tspn           White Sesame Seeds

2 tspn          Ko Cho Jang Sauce*

1/2 tspn       White Pepper


Preparation:

Prep and Grilling Time: 30 minutes + 1 hour marinating Time

Slice pork butt 1/4" thick. Combine the other ingredients in a bowl. Add the sliced pork. Marinate for at least 1 hour. Prepare grill or hibachi with medium hot coals. Grill pork for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.

Serves: 6 

* Ko Cho Jang sauce is a fiery red chili paste used in Korean       cooking. Flavors come from ground chilies, garlic, sugar and  vinegar.

** A rice wine used as a flavouring in Japanese cooking .
